On Saturday June 26, 2021 Assyrian Democrats of the Bay Area (ADBA) gathered at Lands End trail in San Francisco for the first event organized by the Recreational Committee. This event also was open to all the family members and friends. It was a short notice but for our first gathering, 15 people were in attendance plus 2 beautiful young children!

We enjoyed meeting and seeing each other in person after meeting on Zoom for a long time! During the hike, we enjoyed the beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge while talking, laughing and taking photos. After the hike we drove to a Bakery shop for some delicious piroshkis in the city followed by ice cream!

It was a fun day and we are looking forward to having more gatherings!
